.ITALIAN CABINET CONSIDERING
ABOLITION.

LONDON, 28th August,
The "Daily Mail" correspondent in Eome states that the Cabinet is considering the abolition of local selfgovernment. Government appointees will administer all municipalities. A curious aspect of this proposal is that women, who have just been granted the right to vote in municipal elections, are now deprived of the right, without over having exercised it.
