NEW YORK, 26th August,
Douglas Fairbanks, on his return yesterday from Europe, advocated Government ownership of picture films in the United States, after observing the remarkable results of the Government direction of that industry in Russia, and especially as moving pictures are coming to be regarded as instruments of propaganda.
