(United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Australian-New Zealand Cable Assn.) LONDON, 25th August.
Tho "Daily Telegraph's" Bayonne correspondent states that a serious situation has been created by the action of an artillery corps which has ■ sent King Alfonso a document demanding tho resignation of General Do Eivera. In consequence the latter drew up a decree dissolving tho corps, and placing the arms and munitions factories at Toledo and Trubia under control of civilian engineers. King Alfonso refused to sign the decree. It is feared that grave developments may ensue.
