FAMOUS RUGBY PLAYER
PASSING OF A WELSH THREE-
QUARTER.

The Welsh Eugby player, W. Trew, famous not only as the greatest centre-three-quarter who ever played for Wales, but joint originator of the reverse pass, is dead. He did not meet the 1905 All Blacks owing to injury.
Trow, who belonged to Swansea, played for Wales against England in 1900-01, 'and each year from 1907 to 1911; against Scotland in 1900, 1901, 1903, and each year from 1905 to 1913; against Ireland in 1900, 1908, 1909, and 1011; against Prance each year from 1908 to 1913; and against Australia in 1909.
