SCHOOLS MATCHES.
NEW PLYMOUTH, 22nd August. A sterling Rugby tussle between the representatives of the Auckland Grammar and New Plymouth Boys' High Schools, played yesterday, before five thousand spec tators, resulted in a meritorious win for New Plymouth by 22 points to G. Heayjrain in the first spell interfered with the back play usually associated with the two teams. This was the seventh annual contest between the two schools, New Plymouth now having won four and Grammar School three. New Plymouth played with great dash, and outclassed the opposition.
