TARARUA TRAMPING CLUB
A social evening is being held by the Tararua Tramping Club in the New Century Hall on Wednesday evening, at which will be shown what are claimed to be the only cinematograph pictures taken from Mount Egmont. The difficulty has been that it is no light job to pack heavy gear to the summit, but it was was undertaken by three -Wellington amateurs, members of the Tramping Club, with complete success. Moving pictures of the geyser region and many slides of Wellington, city, and district will also be shown, giving an idea of the country travelled by the trampers. There will also be music and dancing.
