(United Pres» Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, 28th July. The Captain Scott Mansion House Fund has closed with a total of £84,----006. Books covering the scientific results of the expedition have been published at a cost of £19,300, while a sum of £38,512 has been devoted to the support of the relatives of the dead, £27,500 set aside for future Polar research, and the upkeep of the Scott Memorial Museum at Cambridge, the stately memorial bronze granite erected at Devonport, Scott's birthplace, the tablet" erected in St. Paul's Cathedral, and £500 contributed to Oates's regimental memorial.
