Yorkshire in the first innings scored 245 (Holmes 77), Larwood taking four wickets for 54 runs, and in the second lost one wicket for 53. The match was drawn. Playing for Worcestershire against AVarwickshire at Worcester, Fox made 122 not out. The match was drawn. Playing for Lancashire against Derbyshiro at Chesterfield, Hallows made 100, Watson 109, and R.
