BRITANNIA THEATRE.
Metro-Goldwyn production, ''Excuse Me," and Dorothy Gish in "The Beautiful City" are being finally presented at the Britannia Theatre to-night. Commencing to-morrow, "Silk Stocking Sal," a new type of crook play, with more tense situations than "Within the Law," will be the feature. Evelyn Brent, brilliant and beautiful young star of the cinema, essays the role of an underworld character and comes off with flying colours. The other attraction is Marshall Neilan's production, - Ahe Sporting Venus." It tells of the daughter of a Scottish lord who falls in love with a commoner whilst her father is living on the Continent. He returns on her eighteenth birthday, closely followed by a penniless prince who is determined to marry the heiress. The supports are excellent.
