Sir, —"Hygiene" in to-night's "Post" complains of the manner in which he saw a load of bread delivered. In more than one shop in this city I have seen the person behind the counter moisten his finger on his lips, place the moistened finger on the wrapping paper fold over the loaf of bread, the moistened part always on the bread. I changed my "bread shop" once on account of this habit, but found things precisely the same in the next c:;:.—I am, HOUSEHOLDER.
