GIRL GUIDES' CONCERT.
Those who attend the Girl Guide concert and entertainment to-morrow in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall are .promised an evening of unusual enjoyment. Mr. Leon de Mauny has promised a violin solo, and Miss Phyllis Bates with her partner will give an exhibition of both the modern waltz and the tango. Other enjoyable items will be given by Mrs. Townley, Miss Mary Cooley, Mr. H. F. Wood, and Mr. Norman Aitken, while Bird's Columbian Orchestra will be in attendance. The Guides are also doing their "bit," and the delightful Flamborough sword dance, taught by Mrs. Haviland, will be given by St. Mark's Rangers, and a very effective and picturesque moving tableau, "The Making of the Flag," is to be performed by the 12th Wellington Company. Lady Majorie Dalrymple, in whose farewell honour the concert is partly given, will address the audience on the subject o£ Guiding. Mr. Harold Whittle is acting as accompanist.
