KNOCKED DOWN BY A BUS
FATALITY IN KENT TERRACE.
While crossing Kent terrace about 8.40 o'clock last evening, John Samuel T,aylor, a married man, 40 years o£ age, employed at the American Dye Works, and residing at 57, Kent terrace, was knocked down by a Corporation omnibus. He was immediately taken to the Hospital, and died on admission.
Shortly after C o'clock last night a motor crashed into a cart and horse being driven along Jervois quay. The cart was smashed into splinters, but fortunately the driver escaped with only minor injuries. The motorist did not stop. The police are investigating.
