ADVICE TO THE BOYS.
"You have all got a definite objective to strive for, and the trustees' wish is that all will reach that objective," states Mr. Newman, in a circular letter to the boys. "One'or two have slipped, but a slip is not irrecoverable if it makes one determined to make the most of the next opportunity which is given to get on. Remember that in good farming nothing is unimportant, and. the lad who puts the same-vim and determination into the tedious jobs as into those which he likes is the lad who will come out on top. Those boys who are always looking for the easy and pleasant jobs work well only when the boss is about, are bored and lazy and waste their money, will sink ,to : the bottom, and no assistance would be of any use. The trustees have this true interests of you all at heart, but cannot waste time and money on the non-triers and faint-hearted. Put your whole heart into your work and play, and when the time comes that you have fulfilled the conditions and can honestly say that you have 'made good,' the trnstees will carry out all they have, promised."
