If a piece has been knocked off the corner of a marble-topped washstand, clean the surface, put a small layer of powdered sulphur on each, set it alight, and then, when it is melted, press the pieces firmly' together aryl hold them in position for a few minutes. Then stand them a»ide for a day. The joint will be perfect. The surplus squeazodout sulphur can be squeezed off.
