The dance girl's latest evening wrap is exactly like' the garment which' Little Red Biding Hood wore whoa she went to visit her grandmother, says the "Daily Chronicle." There is the same close-fitting hood -to pull up over the wearer's head, and the wrap is frequently made in the same flaming colour, though, in place of < the coarse material which probably composed Bed Biding Hood's wrap, velvet or crepe do chine is being used. The modern woman, in going to nursery fairy tales for fashion "inspiration, is careful to express simplicity of design in the most luxurious of materials. Sometimes these hooded cloaks are edged with a metal r fringe. In other cases the hood is made of a different material from the rest of the cloak, or a contrast is achieved by a contrasting lining. An advantage of the Bed Biding Hood cape is that while, on warm days, the hood can be thrown back to form a collar, it can be used as a very welcome protection against a sudden shower or blast of wind such, as are plentifully experienced by dance girls.
