DE LUXE THEATRE.
"Judgment of the Storm, the main attraction of the new programme at .the De Luxe Theatre, is a play which makes a powerful appeal both from the romantic and the serious side of the Btory. JThe leading characters are ably represented by Lloyd Hughes, George Hackathorne, and Myrtle Steadman, established favourites in the motion picture world. Notwithstanding the title of the drama, the story has many delightful comedy scenes. The main theme of the play is the love of John Trevor, a college boy, for Mary Heath. There is a second suitor, Martin JYeeland. A.brother of Mary Heath loses his life in a gambling house, and Trevor offers to work on the Heath farm, without pay, in place of young Heath, arid while so engaged bravely saves three lives during a storm and flood. There is a happy ending. A variety to the programme is provided by the singing of Mr. Hilton Osborne, a cultured baritone, who was heartily encored. As usual, the De Luxe Orchestra rendered the overture and incidental music in a manner which won much applause. There was a matinee this afternoon," and the programme will be repeated this evening and during next week. ..':
