MAORI'S REFIT.

Tue ferry steamer Maori, which has resumed running in the Lyttelton ferry service In place of the Wahine, hat undergone a thorQUgh overhaul, and has been completely redecorated internally. A ipecial paint with a glossiness like glass has been used throughout the vessel, while all the cabtni, dining and smoking rooms look like new, and present a very attractive appearance. The Wahine is undergoing the same thorough overhaul at Lyttelton now, and will, when finished, take up her running, displacing the Mararoa, which .will carry on till then.

THE KARETIT.

The Karelu is to leave Newcastle to-day for Melbourne to complete loading for Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. Sh»' is expected to clear Melbourne on 7th July, and is due here about l!th July.

THE RTJAHINE.

The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Ruahine arrived at Tokomarn Bay yesterday morning from Auckland, but bad weather prevented loading. It is anticipated that she will leave Tokomaru on Monday afternoon for Napier.

THE PORT PIEIE.

The C. and I). Line steamer* Fort Firl* li due at Auckland to-morrow to continue loading, and will afterwards proceed to Opna, New Plymouth, Wellington, and Napier, from which port she is to sail finally on 23rrt Jnly for Glasgow, Liverpool, ATonmouth, and London, via Panama.
