For tho period January-May, 1926, tho quantity of wheat threshed In New Zealand was 4,158,009 bushels, and the averago yield per acre was 31.60 bushels. Canterbury threshed 3,267,945 bushels, for an average of 30.48; Otago, G95.452 bushols, 39.73; Marlborough, 73,871 bushels, 27.20; Southlnd, 45,705 bushels, 33.61; Wellington, 39,531 bushels, 30.80; Nelson, 23,711 bushels, 22.73. In oats, the quantity for New Zealand was 3,175,092 bushels, average 41.08 bushels per acre. Canterbury Is again first with 1,242,270 bushels, 30.38'; Otago, 1,114,030 bushels, 45.62; Southland, 739,006 bushels, 49.61; Wellington, 34,255 bushols, 34.08; Marlborough, 32,494 bushels, 26.25.
