The-coal stoppage is,entering on its third month, and the prospects of reopening / negotiations are as remote as ever:'lt'is understood that the Marquess of "Londonderry has been in Communication with, certain Opposition frontbenchers, biit ndthout, result. The ','Morning Post's" Labour correspondent declares that when.the mine owners post the new terms after the Eight Hours Bill has received the Royal assent they will be able, on an eighthour) baste, ,to' guarantee pay at the total- of 1,100,000 miners. On> the contrary, the miners' leaders aver that the men., will continue their resistance until" fhV middle of September.
