FLOODING OF LORD'S

LONDON, Ist July.
The "Daily Mail" states that Scotland Yard has concluded its investigations into the flooding of , Lord's cricket ground and its report has been submitted to the Marylebone Club. It is understood that it contains a statement made by a member of the ground
staff that the flooding wag accidental owing to tho incomplete 'turning off of tho tap.

LONDON, Ist July. The Marylebone CO. has issued a statement regarding the water on the wicket, stating that the members had satisfied themselves that there was no malicious intent, but that the flooding was due to the carelessness of such of tho ground staff as were concerned.
