PROFESSIONAL MATCH.
The match of 9000 up between the New Zealand and English professionals, M'Conachy and Tothill, was resumed at the Albert Billiard Parlour yesterday afternoon. Tothill opened play with a fine break of 277, but had a quiet spell thereafter, while M'Coiiachy put on 247 and 186. Tothill made otlier breaks of 80 and 106, and the.New Zealander of 100. In the evening, Tothill broke at 80 through a iniscue, and M'Conachy put on over 500 points before his opponent could get going again. The Englishman made up ground by good breaks, including 103 and 194. The session ended with the scores: Tothill 6625, M'Conachy 6006, the latter having a break of 50 unfinished. The match is being resumed this afternoon.
