STRAND THEATRE.
The star featuro, commencing to-night < "Under Western Skies," a Universal Jewel production, introducing Norman Kerry to the screen as a "western" star. Usually the sleek, well-groomed hero, Kerry appears in most of this one as a farm labourer, and also demons'f»tes his ability iis a cow-puncher in many riding scenes. The cast also includes Anne Cornwall, George Fawcett, Kathleen Key, Ward Crane, Eddie Gribbon, Charles K. French, Harry Todd and others. The second feaUire, "What a Wife Learned," starring Marguerita De La Motte, Milton Sills, ana John Bowers, is a story of a wife who went seeking more than marriage could give. The supports include a comedy, Gazette, and Scenic.
