UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Tho Trades Hall Unemployment Committee this morning resolved; "That in the opinion of this meeting the steps being taken to provide' finance and work for the unemployed are not sufficient to meet the situation, and that lccal bodies be strongly urged to take
advantage of the powers conferred on them by the Government in raising loans and putting works in hand immediately."
