TEAM TO MEET AUCKLAND.
The final selection of the Wellington Association football team to meet Auckland at the Basin Reserve next Saturday in the first ■ of the English Trophy matches was an-' jiounced last night. It was identical with ,the team forecasted by "Vanguard" in ''The Post" last evening. J. Lothian j(Thistle) has been appointed captain, and the following reserves have been selected: Goal. J. Ewing (V.M.C.A.); back, B. Fitzgerald (Marist); half-back, N. M'Arthur' Vwrtitute); forward, Newman (HospitfU).
