As ths result of personal representations made by the guild delegation when visiting Australia, another bank agreed to pay coaching and examination fees, and to-grant a cash bonus, and still another decided to pay twenty guineas to successful candidates. There are now five banks paying students' fees and granting bonuses. Furthermore, special opportunities are being given by the banks to those officers who are making themselves more efficient.''
