LODGE MEETING
At the last fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Britannia Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., members were present in good numbers. The occasion was mainly the installation, of the officers for the ensuing term. Bro. F. E. S. Martin, N.G., had no sooner got through the correspondence and routine business than it was announced that Bro. C. G. Turner. D.M.G.. Bro. A. C. Blair. 1.P.D.G.M., Bro. W: I. Clark, D.S., and Sister N. Hargreaves, P.G., were awaiting admittance/ After lodge honours had been given to the district officers two candidates were initiated into the lodge" and Order. During a heated debate regarding the balloting for new members the ruling of Bro.. F. E. S. Martin, N.G., was challenged. However, on the matter being put to the vote his ruling was upheld. Bro. C. G. Turner installed the officers, and Sister Hargreaves .acted as conductor. The officers installed were:— Bro. W. B. Brown, N.G.; Bro. E. Jane, V.G.; Bro. J. M'Kenna, E.S.; Bro. J. M'Kenzie, Warden; Bro. J. Stewart, Guardian. '
