STRAND THEATRE.
Fred. Thomson and his wonder horse Silver King play the leading roles in "That Devil Quemado," showing finally to-day at the Strand Theatre. "Stella Maris," starring Mary Philljin, is adapted from the worldrfairted novel by William J. Locke. The comedy feature of the programme will be "Behind the Screen," featuring Charles Chaplin. The attraction to-morrow is "Two-Fisted Jones," starring Jack Hoxio. It is a stirring story of tho West, emphasising the daring of a man in love, whose aim in life is to clear up injustice. ■ The second feature, "The Chechahcos," is the only film ever' actually made in Alaska. It is a gripping drama that transports fho audience into the heart of the frozen north. A story with an allstar cast specially selected. Comedy and Gazette fill the remainder of the programme.
