NEEDS OF PAHIATUA,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, 9th June. Inspector Hugo's report on the municipal water supply and lire brigade plant was considered by tho Fire Board. Various important recommendations were made for improvement in tho existing services. The report was referred to the Borough Council. The board dealt with the question of procuring a motor equipment for the brigade and the installation of a complete new water supply, which would probably necessitate raising a loan. The matter, it was suggested, should be considered by the council.
