I WHAT THE CENSUS REVEALS. '• From tile preliminary returns so far published of the census taken last month, there is evidence of a drift of people from the country districts to the towns. The co .ntry members of Parliament, always keen in advocating greater facilities for the amusement and entertainment of the people in the baclcblocks to prevent their going to the towns and cities, will obtain from some of the census figures more pabulum for future debates.
