WILKINS'S AEROPLANE
WRECKED
FLYING IN "DETBO1TBB" TO
POINT BABROW.
(United Prest Association. —Copyright) (Sydney Sun Cable.) (Received 7th May, 2 p.m.) VANCOUVEB, 6th May. The aeroplane "Alaskan" wan wrecked when the landing gear buckled as the 'plane taxied over a soggy leld. Captain Wilkins announced that he would fly in the "Detroiter" to Point Barrow.
(Received 7th May, 2.30 p.m.) FAIEBANKS, 6th May. The aeroplane was seriously, damaged, the propeller being splintered and the wings torn to shreds, while the landing gear <,-i the xight side was reduced to a tangled wreck.
