POSTPONED OWING TO STEIKE,

Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London houso under date of the Gth instant:—"Owing to strike, wool and sheepskin sales postponed until circumstances permit resumption. '' Messrs. Murray, Roberts, and Co. are in receipt of information, by cablegram dated 6th instant, that tho sales are postponed indefinitely. A cablegram received by the produce department of the Bank of New Zealand is confirmatory, and it adds:— "Other produce markets are practically at a standstill."
