All the newspapers comment- on the remarkable coolness of the British public in the present crisis.
The "Petit Parisien" says that the man in the street in England has set his face resolutely against revolution.
The "Gaulois" says: "All civilised peoples should stand together at such a time."
The "Echo de Paris" does not doubt that constitutional Government will ultimately triumph. "L'Oeuvre" (Labour) expresses the opinion that the strike i« due to the readoption of the gold standard.
