(Reutw'» Telegram.) (Received 6th May, noon.) LONDON, sth May. The publication of newspapers has been resumed in a number of country towns, including Newcastle, Cardiff, and Glasgow. Photographic plates of typescript are boing utilised in many cases. London financial papers are published with stock and share movements. Broadcasting was extensively used last night for the distribution of Government information and other news relating to public arrangements. The service is operated every half-hour from 9.30 p.m. to midnight. A novel featuro is the posting on windows of broadcast news bulletins. These aro surrounded by eager crowds.
