MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS.

Members of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association met last evening. Mr. W. Duncan presided. The Thistle Club made application for the lifting of a life suspension imposed on a member of the club. They also asked that the ban prohibiting the pl&yer from being present on any Association football grounds for a period of five years should be lifted. The committee decided to recommend the New Zealand Association to strike out the second portion of the sentence. The Hutt Club notified the -n;ithdrawal of their fourth A team from the competition. It was decided to notify all clubs that they must turn out in correct uniform. A number of transfers of players were granted. These included the following:—C. Busterhpltz, from Thistle to Institute; A. M'Lean, from Seatoun to Marist; J. Goldertson, from Hospital, to Waterside;.!1. Foster, from Petone to Hospital; J. M'Leod, from Diamonds to Wadestown; N. D. Twort, from South "Wellington to V.M.C.A.; D. Paterson, from Thistle to Petone. As the Basin Reserve will be available for matches on Saturday, it was decided to play senior A matches as follow:—Thistle v. Waterside and Y.M.C.A. v. Institute, at Basin. Reserve, at 3 p.m.; Marist v. Brooklyn at Associai tion Park, at 1.30 p.m. The chairman and secretary were instructed to wait on tho.New Zealand Council to protest against the pooling jof Brown Shield gates.
