NOT VERY SERIOUS

HAMILTON, This Day. Prom inquiries made at the head, office of Messrs. Ellis and Burnand relative to the trouble, with tho Native • owners at Mangapeehi, it is learned that the position is not so serious as the previous report indicated. Tho company's representatives here states that what trouble there was was confined to a very small section of the Nativo owners, and. was brought about by outside influences. The officials of the company have, visited Mangapeehi and have notified the disgruntled members of thq tribe that any remedy for their supposed grievances must bo sought through the proper constitutional channel,- the. Native Land Court, which is sitting 'at Te Kuiti to-morrow. Meantime the sawmill at Mangapeehi is working as .usual.
