THEFTS CONFESSED
At the Magistrate's Court to-day Michael John Downing (28) was charged with stealing a bieyelo valued at £2 30s, and an electric light globe vallied nt 8s (3d. Chief-Detective Ward asked for a fine, as the accused had given himself up at the police station and admitted the thefts. Ho was fined £1 on each charge.
