TRANSPORT IMPROVES
MANY VOLUNTEERS ENROLLED,
(Australian-New Zealand Cable Assn.) (Received 6th May, 2 p.m.) LONDON, sth May. There are prospects that to-morrow will bring a, great improvement in transport. The Underground alone has enrolled three thousand volunteers, which iv all who could be adequately trained. The companies promise a more or less regular service.
