NEGOTIATIONS FAIL
AFTER MEETING WITH CABINET.
{Australian-New Zealand Cable Assn.) (Received 4th May, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, 3rd May. The Trade Union Congress issued a statement that it was satisfied that a basis of settlement could be reached if negotiations are resumed. Cabinet received the Trade Union negotiators later in the evening, but negotiations failed.
