EMPIRE SHOPPING WEEK
UNFORTUNATE COINCIDENCE,
LONDON, 3rd May.
The coal crisis unfortunately coincides with the All-British Shopping Week, opening to-day. Hundreds of shops throughout England are specialising in Empire products, including 10J miles of shop windows in London, which have been specially dressed. The organisers, nevertheless, are of opinion that everyone should do his best to support the venture. .
