AUCKLAND, This Day.

As there is no immediate prospect of a settlement of the strike at tho Glen Alton Collieries, the management is removing the electric motors to the surface, preparatory to sealing the mine entrance. The miners were given until noon today, to remove their tools. Tho company has confirmed its previous decision that the men must return to work before further negotiations can be considered. A meeting of the men is to be held at Huntly to-day.
