MANAGEMENT.. COMMITTEE MEETS.

A meeting of the Managament Committee of the Wellington Hockey Association was held last evening, Mr. J. L. M'Alister presiding. Mr. F. Morgan tendered,his resignation from the executive owing to pressure of business. The appointment of a substitute was held over to, next Monday's meeting of the executive. Messrs. L. S. P. Butcher, D. Armstrong, and K. Perrin were appointed a subcommittee to deal with the choice of a selector or selectors for the Wellington team to meet the Indian eleven on 3rd June. Mr. N. R. Jacobsen was selected as coach to the team. Arrangements in connection with the Indian Army team's tour were further, discussed. It was decided to tender a civic reception to thep visitors in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, on Tuesday, Ist June. ■
