BLENHEIM, This Day,

The population !of the Borough of Blenheim, as revealed by the Census, shows an increase of 635 since 1931. The actual population is juat ten short of 0000. The figures for tho heavilypopulated suburban areas, which are included in Marlborough County, are not yet available. In Blenheim Borough on Census night there were 2543 males and 2443 females, and' four Maoris bring the total up to 4990. The number included 258 Territorials in camp at tho Show Grounds. In 1921 there were 2126 males and 2221 females, and the Maori population was eight, giving a total of 4355.
