A MISERABLE NIGHT
BOYS' ADVENTURE IN A BOAT,
(By Telegiaph.—Press Association.)
C.URIBTCHURCH, This Day
Soaked to the skin and shivering after a wet night spent in a dinghy under the cliffs of Quail Island, two boys of ten and twelve years landed near Lyttclton Dock on Saturday morning. They had gone out in an Bft dinghy tho previous afternoon, and hud been buffeted on to the reef and then on to Quail Island, the cliffs of which were too steep for them to climb to shelter for the night. They slept and shivered in the open boat, with only mi overcoat for shelter for the two. It rained heavily at intervals in the night. The tide turned in the morning and they were able1 to reach port.
