PICTURE HALL DESTROYED

An outbreak of fire occurred in m country picture show at Tekaraka on Saturday night shortly after the interval, and the hall in' which the pictures were shown was completely destroyed. A worn-out piece of film caught in the gate of th«-machine, and when Mr. Powell ; the operator, went to extinguish the outbreak, another film caught alight. The fire then spread rapidly. Mr. Powell was slightly burnt about the head and hands. . . ■'
