HARRIERS
WELLINGTON CLUB,
The Wellington Harriers held their weekly run from Island Bay on Saturday. A fast and a slow pack followed a fivemile trail laid by C. Whyte and L.Clark. A handicap run-in resulted: J. W. Sheppard 1,-S. Morris 2, H. C. Dibley 3. OLYMPIC CLUB, Eighteen runners faced' the starter for the Olympic Club's Novice Race afc Miramar on Saturday. Lyliari won by a small margin from Malone, with Cook, the scratch man, third. Cook made fast time. Next Saturday's race will be from the Karori Council Chambers. HUTT VALLEY CLUB. The Hutt Valley Harriers selected a three-mile course at Gear Island for their novice race on Saturday. OlliveT ran out winner in 17min lOsec, Barker was second (17min 12see)> and Mitchell third (17min 13sec). . . BROOKLYN CLUB. About thirty members of the Brooklyn Club attended for the weekly run at Sea-, toun. A handicap run-in resulted: R. P. Hoby 1 J. \Y. Parker 2. The race next Saturday will be ruii from 'Wa.destpwn. SCOTTISH CLUB. There was a large attendance of Scottish Harriers for the run at Kelburn. J. Sissons finished first in a 300 yards runin. F. Dwyer was second and E. Whitehouse third.' G.
