THE HUTT RIVER

The monthly meeting of the Hutt River Board was held last evening. Present: Mr W. T. Strand.(chairman), and Messrs. J. Mabey, W. H. Smith, and J. Mitchell. The board's engineer, Mr. Sladden, reported that the con tract for the clearing the Waiwetu Stream in its upper, reaches was now complete: ;• This left 18 chains from where this'contract ended to the flock mill dam.
