HOUSE MATCH
On Good Friday at Kelburn Park, the second annual match between the Christchurch and Wellington staffs of Macky, Logan, Caldwellj Ltd., was played, and resulted in a win for the local team by 71 runs. Scores: Wellington 185 (Dustin 73, Warner 49 not out, Johnson 28, Featherstone 12). Dustin and Warner put on 109 runs for the sixth wicket. Christchurch 114 (Gillies 41, Keliett 20, Thompson 14). Bowling for Wellington, Dustin four for 22, Johnson three for 48; for Christchurch, Keliett three for 22, Airey four for 45; The first iinatch was played at Christchurch, and resulted in a win for Christchurch by over 100 runs, Airey making 137.
