KILLED BY A FALL.
AUCKLAND, 4th April. A fatal accident ojcurrcd .at the Waitemata Hotel this morning, when Maud Mary Shannon, aged about 44 years, fell from a window ol! the hotel. She was dead when picked up. 'Deceased, who was married, and had a grown-up family, was employed as a housemaid at the hotel.
AUCKLAND, This Day. Mrs. Shannon fell, it is supposed, while trying to open a jammed window. She was a married woman with a family. . •
