EARLY SETTLERS' ASSOCIATION
It !s the- intention of the Early Settlers.' and Historical Association of Wellington to form a historical section of the association among those members particularly interested in that study, and such other people as are interested in the events of early days in New Zealand and Wellington in particular are invited to attend a meeting willed for Wednesday evening next at 8 o'clock in the Early Settlers' Hall, Abel Smith street, to discuss the matter. The study of our early interest is of great interest, and much knowledge can be acquired in this way. To facilitate matters the library of the association (though small, it is of considerable interest, and contains newspapers published at the beginning of settlement) will be open to members for research. All interested in the history cf early settlement arc invited to attend or communicate with the iecretary of the association.
