Acting on instructions from the Mexican Government, tho Mexican Ambtilador (Mr. Telles) issued a formal statement on Wednesday declaring that the reports that a Japanese syndicate had been granted land concessions in Lower California wore "absolutely falset"
The machinery of the United States Government was set in motion last Monday to ascertain tho facts regarding ft reported grant of two million acres of, land on Magdalena Bay, Lower California, made .to a- Mexican-Japanese syndicate by the Mexican Government.
